Heatherwood Prince's Cinderella is one of 5 of MCH/PGCH Green Gate Cinderella's Prince ++*S 'E' 'E' daughters we have owned in our herd (Woodhaven Farms Olivia, Heatherwood Prince's Jewel, Heatherwood Prince's Pansy, Heatherwood Prince's Kismet being the other four.) Cinderella's Prince's presence in a pedigree is typically an excellent indicator of heavy milk production… this is definitely the case with this doe. She's line bred on those two favored lines of the breed that we've built much of our herd around: Goodwood Alamo Messenger ++S & ARMCH Goodwood Kauri Tree ++*S 'E'. Prince's Cinderella has a large, well-attached udder with nice, plumb teats. We bred her to Fiddle Stix for 2011 and she produced buck/doe kids. We'll be repeating this pairing for Cinderella's 2012 freshening.

Heatherwood CR My Bella

Heatherwood CR My Bella arrived here with horns as her photo above shows, but they were banded and she is now gracefully hornless. She is a chocolate doe with some interesting white markings and a frosted muzzle. She has freshened for us once with a wonderful mammary-- a capacious udder that completely deflates after milking, large teats and an incredibly, buttery soft texture. She was our first daughter out of our buck Rosasharn GX Caviar *S to freshen for us. She was bred in 2011 to Rosasharn TL Tiger's 'Lfin *S and produced a single doeling whom we initially retained: Avolino Farm TLF Claire De Lune- however, we parted with her as part of a herd starter package when we were conducting our herd reduction. We've repeated the breeding to Tiger's L'fin for 2012, but if this does not take, we will be using an L'fin son, Avolino Farm TLF Pinoli.

Moonstruck is line bred along the Goodwood Zeppo +S/Goodwood Z Ali Babba +*S/Goodwood Alamo Messenger ++S bloodlines. She was to be a first freshener in 2011 but she lost her breeding. She is one of only two polled daughters of our foundation herdsire Flat Rocks Color Me Happy that remain in our herd. She is being paired with *B Sugar Creek VL Tunes Walkman *S for a 2012 kidding.

Avolino Farm CMH Italia is a polled, flashy, heavily broken buckskin doe. She's very correct and she was a first freshener in 2011 bred to *B Sugar Creek VL Tunes Walkman *S. She produced a beautiful doeling whom we have retained: Avolino Farm TWK Capri. Her pedigree goes back to the Goodwood Alalmo Messenger ++S and ARMCH Goodwood Kauri Tree ++*S 'E' lines that so much of herd is built upon. Her dam had a nice, capacious udder with large teats and we were very pleased with her capacity as a first freshener despite only producing a singleton doe. We'll be repeating the breeding to Walkman again for her 2012 kidding.

Heatherwood SG Melody is a beautiful dairy doe. Her dam arrived here at Avolino Farm bred and she kidded twin doelings for us in May of 2008. Her littermate sister Heatherwood SG Lyrica was sold, but we knew we had to retain Melody. She is a first freshener in 2011 and we've been looking forward to evaluating her mammary. She was been bred to Rosasharn TL Tiger's 'Lfin *S for a March 2011 freshening and she kidded on March 29th with beautiful buck/doe twins. Melody had been up for sale, but we'd been watching her mammary develop as she approached her kidding date and we were really impressed with what we saw. Now that she has freshened, we are even more pleased that she will be remaining here at Avolino Farm! She has been rebred to Rosasharn TL Tiger's L'fin *S for 2012.

She inherits her stunning dark red color from her sire and grandsire (Goodwood KW Woody Allen *S and ++B Gay-Mor's RA Kingwood ++S.) She excels in general appearance and is long bodied with a nice level top-line. Her dam Steel Ballew Blue Denim has produced 100% blue eyed offspring for us and is gorgeous in her own right. Believer was a first freshener for us in 2011 bred to Rosasharn TL Tiger's 'Lfin *S-- producing buck/doe twins. For 2012, she'll be bred to a son of Rosasharn Tiger's L'fin *S: Avolino Farm TLF Pinoli.

Heatherwood WA Ripley is a black doe with a partial white belt, white markings, frosted ears and a white poll. She's a long and level doe and was a first freshener in 2010 producing buck doe twins. She is line bred on Stonewall's Raising Arizona ++S 'E' through both her dam and sire. Her first freshening udder was well attached with large plumb teats. We'd been anxiously awaiting her second freshening for us bred to Lost Valley TB Boones *S for 2011. This pairing represents a potent line breeding along both the Kingwood and Tae Bo/Music Man bloodlines. She kidded on March 21, 2011 with buck/doe broken chamoisees-- we've retained both of them: Avolino Farm BNS Surrey and Avolino Farm BNS Boondoggle. For 2012, she will bred to Heatherwood K Benificence for a very heavy line breed along ++B Gay-Mor RA Kingwood ++S.

Avolino Farm SG Mirage is one of two daughters we have in our herd out of her sire. She is white with lots of random gold markings. Her dam has a wonderfully high and snuggly attached udder. Her paternal sister, Heatherwood SG Melody, was a first freshener producing buck/doe twins in 2011 and had a gorgeous mammary. We are hoping the same will apply with Mirage. Mirage is being paired with Avolino Farm TLF Pinoli for her 2012 kidding. Avolino Farm SEN Kirra is a dark gold and white doe with polka dots. Her dam, PocketSized Pops Tigress, had one of the highest and most snuggly attached udders in our herd.
